The Thud You Just Heard Was My Editor Dropping Dead

Yes, that's right guys! The rewrite is done, to this stage anyway. Back in the hands of my trusty editor.

And, because I forgot to do this earlier today with the usual post, aspiring authors should go to Jason Pinter's blog and read his June 13 post about literary agents. Some great info in that post.

Right, that's me, off to celebrate! Until the next round of edits, anyway.

Thanks Angie and Anne, but celebrations have been temporarily suspended until my brain is re-wired.

Congrats, Sandra. Can't wait to read it.
I just finished my first book-length manscript so the link to Jason Printer's blog was a great boon. Hope the two agents who asked to see it before completion are reputable.

Thanks Jason! My brain is almost functioning again - I really meant to put the link up yesterday. I need to clean up my blog now...

Hey Patti, congrats to you! Woo-hoo! Check those agents out, be sure you know who you're submitting to. That's important. Big publisher, small publisher, big agency, small agency - all can be great, all can be awful. Get advice if you can so you're happy with your choice - note my confidence!

Kicking ass and taking names. My god, woman, do you ever sleep? Congratulations on getting the edits out the door.

Congratulations on this fine achievement.

But I have to say, waiting for your brain to get rewired before you party is kinda like making your bed just before you go to sleep.

At least that's how it works in Bachelor Pad School.

Brett, that's the plot of my next book.

Stephen, I wish! I'd be less grumpy, I'm sure!

Daniel, I'll bear that in mind. Although I'm not a bachelor, so I'm not sure it applies.
