If you read the story I linked to at the end of yesterday's main post, you'll know the Japanese - apparently - aren't getting any.
And according to this article, neither are Canadians. Although my old stomping grounds of Muskoka could be the exception.
JB Thompson has an interview with Jason Pinter up on her blog. Be sure to drop by and check it out!
And where am I, anyway? It's Wednesday, which means it's my turn at Killer Year. Come find me there! But first, kittens.

I'm always hearing more than the band is playing.
Nudity?
Kittens?
The kittens are too cute to have a mask put on them. They are nude and they might be recognized?
ROFLMAO
Police found open liquor but no sign of life jackets.
Well, duh. Priorities, people!
Ooooh, they are getting so big.
Great post at KillerYear today too.
Ha Ha Ha ha ha ha!
Why am I so fond of these non-sequiturs?
I like corn flakes.
Can you swim?
Aaaaw! Lookit the fluffy babies. So cute!
Those poor sexless Japanese. I haven't heard that term before. Most interesting...
Iiana o tenki desu, neh? Maybe they don't need to talk more. Maybe they just need more sake. I could do with some myself.
Ivan, maybe it's wishful thinking?!
Flood, LOL!
JT, they are so adventurous now! And very very cute.
Boy Kim, I'm only going to use restraints in very specific situations.
Ivan, I like corn flakes and I can swim!
SW, you going out for sushi now? Enjoy...
Love that cat stretch...
My mind will not allow me to consume raw fish, no matter how many people tell me it's delicious. Sushi's out. :-)
Sandra, it looks like Killer Year's really shaping up great! Many congratulations -- go for it!!
Samdra,
The second kitty picture is "post-card" material. I'd forgotten that you are also a great photographer.
Oh my God! That bottom picture is priceless!
Awwww. They're sooo cute.
I'm just waiting for the U.S. college fraternities to get ahold of these stories. They'll start arranging "field trips" to Japan and Canada to offer "foreign aid" to the women in need.
Equally disturbing is that I thought of this on my own.
Hey, I'm not crazy about raw fish either SW but there is sushi made without it!
Glad you guys like the cat pictures. You know what's funny? I have a picture of Buttons like that almost exactly when she was little - and Simon is almost the exact spitting image of Buttons. If it weren't for a tiny bit of russet fur on her back, Simon's markings are identical, down to the stripes on her tail.
Omigawd, sushi!
And kittens!
But,...SUSHI!
I wouldn't be an obsessive animal lover if I didn't say that those kittens are so freaking cute. I just want to pick them up and cuddle them (if they'd let me!)
My secret daily pleasure is Cute Overload.com. I don't care what anyone sez, you can never see too many adorable kittens, bunnies, puppies, and other critters.
Mai Wen, the kittens are very cuddly! Stuart is actually a real lover cat - I'll dig up a good Stuart picture for you tomorrow!
Bill, you're so sweet. And right.
Sandra:
I believe, before he took it back, a parliamentarian accused our Premier (Governor) as "an alien kitten eater from another planet."
I love those kittens, and Dalton McGuinty stay away.
Heh.
Hey, speaking of Fliberals, my husband got a letter today from Michael Ignatieff! Imagine that! Michael needs our help to get him into office!
I wonder if he realized he was sending that letter to a native-born Albertan!!!!!!!
Sandra:
Q.E.D.
There are days when I find Iggy Pop annoying.
