Taking it all off

Yeah, you knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. I'm baring it all at Tribe's fabulous Flashing in the Gutters.

Don't forget to read the post below!

And my apologies to Stephen Blackmoore. I didn't mean to infer he influenced me by doing something naughty. Really, I didn't.

And my thanks to M.G. Tarquini for the edits. Sorry to add this so late - morning fire department drama that hastened my post and then interruptions all morning before I properly got back to this.

And I hate to tell everyone what a fantastic kick-you-in-the-pants-because-she-cares-to-really-help editor Mindy is, because you'll all be asking her to edit you now, dammit!

Nice one, Sandra. And just what I needed - another excuse to waste time over at flashing. I'm hardly getting any work done as it is;}#

Thanks James - glad I could help distract you some more!

And thanks to MG Tarquini for editing me on that piece.

I only cried three times...

Yup, ditto jameso.
What brand of gin?

Sandra Ruttan said...

You mean you care about the brand?

Seriously, I don't ever keep alcohol in the house. Not like a policy or anything, but I don't drink much. Never been drunk.

Now there's a challenge someone will take on at Harrogate this year, no doubt. I almost only drink at things like that.

And I did crash on a table in a bar in Edinburgh after Harrogate last year, but that's another story...

Too late. Mindy's already helping me. :D I can say one thing, she's a lot more patient with my stubbornness than my dad ever was! I am learning sooo much!

Loved the story, Sandra. Very Miss Snark-like!

Thanks Christa!

Yes, three cheers for Mindy! She'll kick you in the arse and then dry your tears and give you a shot of brandy. Everything you could want in an editor.

Oh good, a link I can really sink my teeth into!

Yeah, that Gutters site is like junk food. More addictive than chocolate.

I did something naughty? Huh? Where am I? Who are you people? How'd I get this tattoo?

Sandra Ruttan said...

Geesh, at least you didn't tell them where the tattoo is! Some things should stay private, you know!

Think how comparable it is to childbirth.

Christa M. Miller said...

Hmm. No. Mindy's editing is WAY worse than childbirth. Cause in childbirth, your body completely takes over, no thought required. Mindy's editing makes you think through the whole thing, processing and analyzing. And you still might not get it right. Come to think of it, Mindy's editing is much more like *raising* the child. Childbirth is just the rough draft.

Love you, Mindy! :D

This is one helluva funny thread to read.

Excellent flash, Sandra.

Yup, there's a good crew of commenters on here that are more entertaining than I am.

Thanks again for all the help!
