Who's The Idiot?

Me.

I feel pretty stupid.

I did an article for Crimespree Magazine. Some of my previous stuff got bumped around, but I didn't actually clue in to the fact that this article was shifted until, well, today.

When I opened up the magazine and discovered it was in print.

Fuck me. I thought it was going on the website. Would I have owned up to my idiocy if I'd comprehended it was going in print?

All of this confusion persuades me that I'm not drinking enough. At least then, I'd have something to blame it on.

I think I need a secretary.

Eileen, thanks for making me feel better!

Daniel, yeah. Looks sharp. I was looking through it over lunch.

Your 'Am I Dead' article rocked last issue, though. You're sharp at those articles.

I noticed that the new covers make the magazine slide easier. This might sound like fun, but when you have a pile about two hundred high and it starts to shift it's a little scary.....

Hey Sandra, the article was too fun not to have in print!

Thanks Jon - slide easier, huh? I'm envisioning a flash piece that has to do with death by magazine avalanche! LOL!

Hey, thanks Sandra.

That article was the first I'd ever written for anything other than my blog (not counting dodgy internal company newsletters), so it was fairly nerve-wracking and a hard slog to get it to where I felt good about it. Glad you liked it.

So, anyone else out there feel like making my head bigger? Come on, I can still fit through the door.

Daniel, dodgy? Internal? What exactly did your company do? Damn, now I'm curious!

I think the blurb you got was great. I'm looking forward to reading your book.

Thanks Eileen! I hope to have a chance to meet you in person next time I'm in the GVA! Too bad we couldn't do a joint signing!
