A Sunday To Burn in Hell

What could be better than a little Hardboiled Jesus for your Sunday afternoon reading? Ah, anything that starts with the line:

“You’ve got the wrong guy for this kind of kinky shit,” Jesus said. “You want a priest.”

is a must.

And is this how far we haven't come? A disabled boy isn't allowed to bring his guide dog to school?

There is something seriously wrong with the world we live in, when this is the issue schools have time to get ansy about. Grab a fucking clue and bitch about growing classroom sizes, being underbudget for sufficient aids in the classrooms or outdated teaching materials... But a support dog?

And people wonder why I left education.

Well, some people are just dumb. "Allergic or scared"? Aside from the fact that aid dogs in general are the most well-behaved, good tempered beings you're likely to encounter (better than most people by far), poodles in particular are HYPOALLERGENIC! And smart! And friendly and good natured!

And I'm not just saying that because I have a poodle!

Grrrr.

You have a poodle? My huskies would eat a poodle for a mid-afternoon snack.

I should point out that the HJ story begins here, with Part One. 1A was just a quick follow-up.

Sorry Bonnie! :)

John, you and your labeling. You make it so darned difficult. 1. 1A...

Yeah, I didn't really think things through. Left the note at the bottom of 1 saying 1A was coming, but didn't realise that with 1A shuffling it off the top, no one would see it. D'oh!

The opening line to the proper part 1 is better too.

Better for inducing heart failure amongst the more delicate readers! Vincent, you're so funny. I guess you guys don't have a holiday today?
