Ah, research. And edits...

Okay, I'm motoring along on revisions here and then I hit something.

"Like the people campaigning for a change in daylight savings time?"

Just last night Kevin and I were talking about the change in dst. Unreal. But when I drafted this ms, that hadn't happened.

Could the world not change for a few years so I don't have to worry about updating my manuscripts? Is that too much to ask for? See, I didn't think so.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled blog-hopping.

I really hope it's like the year 2000, which didn't amount to the end of the world...

I think that still remains to be seen. The end of the world could be a process, not a specific second on a timeline. And let's face it, look who was handed control of the nucular football at the end of 2000.

You know, for a civilized nation, you guys need a better system of voting. Maybe next time go for a show or hands, something a bit more reliable.

Jelly beans. Red jelly for the bad guys, blue jelly beans for the good guys, and no snacking until the counting is over.

Don't scare me like that! I thought maybe it was time for me to change my clocks and no one had reminded me! And it's spring damnit, at least in fall I get more sleep. norby

Oh, gee, sorry Norby! It is earlier, this year, apparently...

Grrr. Not that I ever have any reason to get up early that day, it's just the thought. They keep talking about just dropping it. Less talk more action I say. norby

I had a similar problem with Natural Causes. Inspector McLean goes into a smokey pub, only they banned smoking in pubs in Scotland between the first and second drafts. Quite ruined the atmosphere.

But Scottish pubs are much nicer places to drink now. Not so sure about daylight saving time. The winter suddenly gets very dark.
