What To Do When I'm Not Here

Read Brian's insightful piece on CROSS, the latest Jack Taylor offering from Ken Bruen. I haven't had time to properly digest it all myself... but it just figures Brian would come up with something must-read (and easily discussable) as I try to begin my hibernation cycle.

How odd you say that. I rooted out that book a few day's ago to re begin when i've finished The book Thief.

Have you read all the Jack Taylor books? I really do believe it's a series that should be read in order. THE GUARDS is simply brilliant. One of the reasons I have so much admiration for Ken Bruen is he can write anything - humor, action, and the kind of anguish that will tear your heart in half, and always with these lines of truth that will hit you right between the eyes. His work is superb.

Um...the linky is to a Sarah Weinman link-o-rama post. And yes, Bruen's work is superb!

Thanks for pointing that out Angie. I've fixed it. That's what happens when you start cutting and pasting too early on a Sunday morning!
