Can't speak for you of course, but I'm learning much by "slagging off, messing around on blogs..". I do, however, need to get back to some serious writing on my novel instead of blogging and writing about placemats.
In addition, R.J. and I are coauthoring a BizBook and it has found the way to the bottom of both our piles.
I like to think that I've made a bunch of new friends here and it is difficult not to check in with them each day. Gotta stop soon though--at least so often.
But it was an historic election, and we're all feeling rather blue here today (pun intended, not the literal inference!)
I'm actually thrilled about the election. And anyone who thinks that's because I live in Alberta should note I was born in Etobicoke, spent 20 of the first 21 years of my life living in Gravenhurst, and that's still way more than half my life. Plus I spent 6 years living in BC, which is an NDP stronghold, so it isn't 'cos I'm a naturalized Albertan.
It's 'cos I'm sick of scandal and corruption in government and any government as corrupt as our outgoing one needs a good kick in the ass on their way out the door.
James, maybe you're my evil twin that I was separated from at birth, for my own safety after you tried to wrap the umbilical cord around my neck.
Or we're just two extremely cool people. Three, counting Erik.
Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI just took the animal test. You should be disappointed to know that mine came back identical to yours.
I'm not disappointed! Okay, so I'm not as original as I thought I was...
ReplyDeleteDo you find it ironic? I spend so much time slagging off, messing around on blogs...What goal is it I'm working towards there?

You have a wonderful evening, Sandra.
Wow. I like your results much better than mine!
ReplyDeleteI agree about the friends, and it is hard not to touch base with everyone. And I like distractions!
ReplyDeleteHave a good evening too - at least tonight I don't have to stay up late watching election results.
Deer have a certain elegance, Trace.
ReplyDeleteAnd also a governed hunting season. Hmmm, maybe not so good.
It's never worthwhile staying up late watching election results. Even Jean-claude Van Damme movies are better than watching election results.
ReplyDeleteThough if you want an interesting point of view on the Canadian elections, have a look at Warrenellis dot com.
And hey, we're both Eagles who once were Whales. Spooky - I more often feel like a Whale who once was an Eagle;}#

Huh? I hated Bambi....

You are a fun-seeker - an adventurous, risk-taker.
While you are spontaneous, you are not very rational.
