Half-full or half-empty?

Yesterday, somebody said in reference to me, "Every silver lining has to have its cloud."

And with that, I bring you Cloud of the Month, really, a thing of beauty.

    Nacreous cloud is so cool (literally, as well as figuratively). It's quite rare to see over here. There was a beautiful example I remember in Fife a few years back that made the evening news - people had been phoning in asking if there had been a disaster or if the world was going to end.

    This link was sent to me this morning by a friend of mine in Edinburgh - he said he'd just seen one of these clouds.

    Weirdest cloud I ever saw was black and red - no fire. That had armageddon written all over it.
