Nacreous cloud is so cool (literally, as well as figuratively). It's quite rare to see over here. There was a beautiful example I remember in Fife a few years back that made the evening news - people had been phoning in asking if there had been a disaster or if the world was going to end.

ReplyDeleteWeirdest cloud I ever saw was black and red - no fire. That had armageddon written all over it.
